Anderson, South Carolina

Well girls, I officially got a job and a new apartment in about a month and moved down to Anderson, SC this weekend. I am going to be working at the Anderson County Public Library as a Reference Librarian. I start on Thursday. Anderson is on the western side of the state, in the foothills of the Applachian Mountains...a good location for me I think. It's about 8ish hours from home, and close to 3 airports. I am living in an old house that has been turned into a duplex...it's a little small, and there's not a lot of storage space, but it's in a good neighborhood, close to the library, and relatively inexpensive. I am excited to get started at the library, and sort of get the ball rolling...but these days off are nice to have so I can get unpacked and all of that. I am going home for Thanksgiving weekend to hang out with the family and then bring Homer back with me then...I miss him already!!
